I had some italian (beef) Deer and they had pressure cooked the meat and it was really tender, never heard of canning the meat though.
Happy hunting but remember it is against the law to shoot at bigfoot unless it is self defense

I have had rabbit before mom. It was when we visited one of dad's relatives when I was young. We also had squirrel...but I don't make it a habbit to tell too many people that.

I've eaten squirrel...it was tough as hell and I was about 7-8 when I did it. Wouldn't do it again unless I had too. Recently had a hamburger made from deer meat and it was really good!!!

I knew a girl in college who claimed to have eaten her own roadkill because she felt it was wrong to not make use of the animal. Not doing anything, in her mind, would have been like an unecessary kill. But then again...she shaved her head.

HAHAHA I remember you telling me that Robin!!! When my dad hit that 12 point buck, that's exactly what they did with the meat. I mean as soon as the Sheriff got there he slit its throat and hung it over the car...said poor people need to eat too.
Dad's car was totaled but somebody had a decent meal that night.
